Doug Wight brings to Anomaly grape-farming expertise dating back to the 1800s. Doug’s great-great grandfather, John Lewelling, was a pioneer winegrower and horticulturist. Doug, along with his family, own and operate one of the oldest vineyards in the Napa Valley. Besides being part of a family rich in history, and operating the family vineyard, Doug founded Wight Vineyard Management, Inc. in 1983.
Wight Vineyard Management farms 600 acres across the Napa Valley, delivering grapes to 25 different wineries that produce some of the finest wines in the world. The grapes he farms run the gamut from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Syrah, and Pinot Noir, to Chardonnay, Semillon, Petite Syrah, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc.
